Paul Stowe has lived in Munich, Germany for over twenty years, fronting a popular band called Matching Ties and performing solo. His band Matching Ties has just released its 4th CD, titled Across The Sea. He's married with two kids. He's hilarious and talented. He speaks German, Italian, Spanish and English but refuses to work as a language translator where he could make all kinds of money. Seems he decided long ago that he'd rather be a musician come hell or high water, and I've always admired him for following his dream. We used to play music together in Italy back in the 1980s.

He's also coming to the US in a few weeks to visit his ailing mother who lives in Salt Lake City. To help cover his expenses and make sure we get to enjoy his music and company, we are presenting him in a very rare stateside appearance, right here at Lapwai Lane.

Paul's solo show runs the gamut from Celtic ballads to ribald country blues, and everything in between, including jokes designed to keep funloving, beer-drinking Germans in their seats and howling for more. You're invited to see this world-class singer and guitar player, and you don't even have to fly to Germany or drink beer! Cost will be $12 per person. Please bring a covered dish.
