If you’ve never looked into the military use of “DU” and want to better understand its devastating short and long-term effects, watch the Army’s own DU training video for starters.
If you think DU is a problem only where and when it is used as a weapon, and our government is telling the whole truth when it says there’s nothing to worry about if handled correctly, see what Gulf War Veterans have to say about it, because they were the first to know and pay the price.

Wow! The info on DU effects are heartbreaking and downright scarey! It is amazing that all the things that go on in this world, good and bad, resemble the Butterfly effect by directly or indirectly effecting others’ lives. The answers to turn this ship around, if any, are not easily identifiable… Hell, I don’t even know if a possible 180 exists. I would like to challenge Mr Toupes to devise a plan to get the word out. By word, I mean the truth… not biased towards one political side or the other, but unbiased towards the betterment of mankind… is such a venue possible?
Well, I like challenges so I’ll take you up on it Tim.
One who has read these pages for a while (okay, me) could posit that this is what I am doing with this blog, but I understand that broader dissmenation is needed to get the message out and have it result in legislation in the United States, Israel, and other nations that use DU, to completely and permanently ban the use of uranium weapons, DU and “nucular” bombs both.
The use of uranium weaponry may currently be a matter of policy, but it’s also a matter of life and death for not just soldiers, but civilians around the world—all six odd billion of us.
So far, the hidden part of the popular story about our weapons of war is that death is winning thanks to this government’s indiscriminate use of radioactive ordinance. But not for much longer. The cat (not surprisingly, with 2 heads, 5 legs and one eye) is out of the bag.
That’s worth hollering about.
